Jefferson in Paris -
Nick Nolte plays a mundane version of Thomas Jefferson in this film which is more an analysis of race and politics in the late eighteenth century than the historical romantic epic it aspires to be.

Tommy Boy -
Most of the time, this poor comedy simply falls flat. A few times it sinks even lower. It doesn’t have the confidence to follow through on a joke, but tries to drown the viewer with situation after situation…and succeeds in … Continue reading
Tank Girl - [No Tickets]
It tanks. Awful movie about a girl and her tank in a post apocalyptic future. Simply bad.

Funny Bones -
A drama on what it means to be “funny”. A few surprises and genuine comedic touches can’t compensate for the truly unlikable characters.

Outbreak -
A good movie, but one that should have been great, given its timely topic and cast. The film is frightening and suspensful, but the Hollywood touches of the helicopter chase and the Evil Military should have been abandoned in favor … Continue reading
Exotica -
Bizarre. Thrust into the middle of the story, you never truly know what anything is all about until the end. Interesting concept, but unfortunately the result is a twisted mess. You end up losing contact with the characters among the … Continue reading
